Phenomenology using Lattice QCD

This talk will provide a status report on two topics -- the calculation of light quark masses and the CP violation parameter BK using lattice QCD. I carried out among the first (and by today's standards preliminary) of such calculations during my years at Northeastern. So I will weave in some history into the presentation while showing how the field has matured and end by discussing the state-of-the-art results and what lies in the future.
